Don't buy any Reebok treadmill for your home. Their customer service is not good if you have any issue with their product you received. You can try yourself to find it out: just call their customer service 1-877-994-4999 and see how long you have to be put on hold.

My boyfriend and I purchased The T 12.80 to give us another option to the gym. There are just days when you don't feel like getting dressed, packing your gym bag and driving to the gym. The convenience of having such a versatile piece of cardio equipment in your home, gives you no excuse not to exercise. Plus instead of just sitting on the couch watching a news program or one of my TV shows (or even a movie), now I can exercise while doing the same. It's just that much easier.

The machine is VERY heavy. It took two grown men (and my BF is quite strong) to get this into our home. The assembly didn't take very long, and we were up and running (no pun intended;0) in no time. There was an issue with the belt (It was off-center). However, after having a service technician come out, all was well.

The programs are nice and you should find something that suits your fitness level. I am surprised by how many choices you have. The only downside (and why I didn't give this machine 5 stars) is that you can't enter your weight or age (for any of the programs) which play a role in true calorie burn. Also, you can't increase the time on the pre-programmed workouts...or at least I haven't figured out how. It's too bad as, to me, a half hour just doesn't seem to be enough.

For the price, the machine is very sturdy and quiet. It doesn't feel cheap, even when you set the incline to the highest setting. I never feel like "I better take it easy". Granted, we've only been using the machine for about a month, but that machine gets about 3 to 3.5 hours of use per day. If it's still going strong after 6 months of this, I have a feeling it's going to be a very wise investment.

I haven't had a chance to use the IFit program, but I intend to do so. The fan is okay, but it's not great. It does the trick because I don't get overly heated during workouts. Plus our machine is in a room where there's a ceiling fan.

The jack for the IPod models works well and the speakers aren't that bad. If you like music with a lot of bass, however, you're going to be a bit disappointed. The speakers aren't of that high of quality to give a good bass sound. It sounds kind of muffled. A few of the songs on my IPod have a lot of bass to them and they didn't sound as rich. However, changing the playback option on my IPod did the trick.

I also can't report on the folding feature of the machine as a component needs to be replaced, so the machine has to stay in its flat position. I don't mind as I probably wouldn't fold up the machine because where it's located, I don't need the space that it's taking up.

I highly recommend this machine based on its cost (I can't lie. We paid a considerable amount less than what's advertised on this site); its features; and the quality of the machine. It's truly worth the money.
